The department has an essential role since its establishment in year 1965 serving the agricultural and industrial sectors through graduation of 700 students in bachelor, 43 students in master and 1 PhD degrees; and conducted many of applied research work in animal and poultry production, breeding and genetic improvement, management, disease control and also offer many of technical advises.
