Vice Dean's message

Welcome to the College of Engineering in Al-Kharj website. I hope you will find it beneficial and useful. I would like to inform you a little bit about this young college away from figures and statistical information.
From the first day of the foundation of the college, its Dean Prof. Awad Al-Srour Al-Asmari established a clear policy that perceives an important role that the college will play in the engineering scene in the kingdom in the near future, God willing. From the preparation of a distinguished academic plan that enriches students giving them the confidence for creative thinking in all what is new in technical engineering; through the recruitment of outstanding faculty members who have long experience in university teaching and research; ending with the provision of an appropriate educational environment.
The students in this college will find an attentive ear to listen to them and provides them with the tools of science and knowledge while the acquisition of science is assigned to the student himself. Therefore, the college is keen to admit distinguished students in order to complete elements of the ideal learning process to ensure the building of an engineer who is capable of competing. The need to qualify the engineer in a competitive way is imperative since the Kingdom has joined the World Trade Organization, where outstanding career opportunities go to the most professionally and technically qualified engineers.
Certainly, the establishment period of a college with these aspirations is a critical period in which the difficulties and challenges require more efforts in order to place a robust first building block that serves as the basis of the college. However, these difficulties will be trivial with joined efforts of the college administration and faculty members and staff.
