About the College

The start for the establishment of the Faculty of Engineering Kharj directives from the Commissioner to expand in the establishment of universities and colleges in various regions of the Kingdom and the need to accommodate the students, thus easing the pressure on the universities, the University has considered the establishment of the Faculty of Engineering, Al-Kharj province of King Saud University in view of the great importance of the growing numbers of graduates of secondary schools in this province and its neighboring provinces, where the number of graduate students in 1443 e 1424/1425. Under the guidance of Dr. Rector of the University of King Saud University initiated the agency for educational and academic preparation of the necessary studies. This was followed by the decision of the Council of King Saud University Bgelsth the second year 1426/1427 e e 19/9/1426 and the date of the establishment of the college.
