The academic programs in the College
The College provides two types of academic programs: the Provisional program and the Qualifying program.
First: The Provisional Program:
Definition:
The Provisional program is a kind of program that does not finish by achieving a scientific degree, rather it qualifies the student who does this program to join the university after successfully completing the program according to the standards set by the College in coordination with the faculties related to the specializations which pursue their studies in. this program offers the specializations suggested by the Council of the College and endorsed by the Council of the University. The student will be thoroughly supervised and his academic progress will be followed up upon joining the program and throughout the different stages of study. If a student is believed to falling short from achieving the major requirements for transferring to the university, he will be directed to the Qualifying program in accordance with regulations suggested by the Council of the College and endorsed by the Council of the University.
Objectives
1. providing a chance for students to do specializations needed by the labor market.
2. supplying higher levels in some departments with students to guaranty the availability of a sufficient number of them to achieve a high performance efficiency.
3. reducing the ratio of missing classes at the university level in the Kingdom because the College receives a number of students whose averages do not allow them to join university education.

Second: The Qualifying Program
Definition:
Opposite to the Provisional Program, the Qualifying program awards the graduate the Diploma degree or its equivalence which is called the (Associate Degree). This qualifying program offers all the applied specializations which are needed by the labor market. These specializations are suggested by the Council of the College and are implemented after being endorsed by Council of the University.
Objectives
1. qualifying students in specializations which are highly demanded by the labor market and do not require a Bachelor degree.
2. providing a chance for students, who could not pursue their study in the Provisional program for academic purposes, to obtain a degree that qualifies them for employment.
