King Saud University (K.S.U.) is greatly keen to develop its educational facilities in accordance with the progression the Kingdom currently superimposing in all aspects to fulfill the needs of students and specialized researchers of the Kingdom or other countries.

          Accordingly, KSU intended to establish a museum for animal samples in Zoology Department, College of Science aiming at getting acquainted with the different species of the Kingdom Fauna including domesticated, wild animals, predators and useful or harmful animals as well as giving the opportunity for specialized researchers to study the fauna samples and perform the appropriate researches accordingly, as it is difficult for most researchers to follow a lot of animals in their natural habitat due to their extra locomotion and transfer to look for safe place and appropriate food.

          KSU hops, via introducing this brief manual, to give a general idea about the museum of Zoology Dept. and its pivotal role in scientific, cultural and social aspects as a part of the contribution the KSU offers serving the Saudi nation.
