The college of Arts and Science in Wadi Addawasir was founded according to decree number 33/28/18248 in 11/6/1426 issued by the Minister of Higher Education.

In 1428 the college began to enroll student for the first term, the number of students who enrolled for the first and second term is 800.Those students are distributed according to their wishes to studyin four departments:

• Arabic language
• English language
• Mathematic
• Computer sciences

Dr. Mubarak Al-hamad was appointed a dean and supervisor of the project to establish college of Arts and Science in wadi addwasir since he has further experience in his field; he was the first dean and the founder of the community college in Riyadh.
