Lamya AlAbdulkarim from the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the College of Applied Medical Sciences has won at the 2009 Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Entrepreneurship Development Program in Boston.

The Department of Community Health Sciences, Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences (female section) will be organizing a public lecture on swine influenza (H1N1) titled " swine flu; prevention is protection” highlighting facts and clarifying myths on the disease, the Department will be also setting up an awareness poster corner on the epidemic offering Q&A’s/counseling for both parents and children.
