Lamya AlAbdulkarim from the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the College of Applied Medical Sciences has received the Fulbright award for scholars from the US State Department. This competitive award was for one year at Smith College in Massachusetts. AlAbdulkarim has worked with the world renowned professor Jill de Villiers in theoretical-experimental research in child language development. She reported that she has received all the support and resources from her professor, Smith College and the Fulbright program to facilitate her work.
